Why will you never reach 100 followers?
Getting started on Medium with no audience is generally not easy, but when you have the passion to write and keep delivering high quality content with consistency then you definitely get what you deserve.
You know when we just start something we just want to rush and get it done to reap out the benefits out of it, but as they say there’s no shortcut to Success.
- The Follow for Follow method.
So what’s with this? seems really good, “I follow you follow me” we’re both content creator. But who’s gonna read my stories? even if I get 100 followers on Medium which is the required amount of followers to join the Medium Partnership program.
Imagine you did reached 100 followers in a day, but if you’re not getting any views on your content is definitely not worth it, because all the hard-work you put in your content is not viewed by anyone, so it’s just having bunch of followers but no one is interested in your content.
2. Copying content.
A quick way to get popularity would be copy the content which is getting bunch of views, so what’s the flaw? I mean, this thing is getting a lot of views so it would work for me too right? NO, The person who made that certain content made it on certain basis.
For example, If I want to watch MrBeast content (who is known for his generosity and helping people buy doing a contest and something similar.) So if i had 2 options to watch MrBeast or to watch another person who copies MrBeast to gain audience like him, it’s more than likely that most people woud choose MrBeast as most of us know that his content would be original and most likely better than the other person who imitates him, so in conclusion the thing is you need originality rather than reproducing something that has already being done.
3. Not putting enough effort.
When just starting, most people are really excited to start a new journey, but once they start and weeks go by and they see no result, they start to slack off as they think it’s hard and it’s not for us, but trust me it happens with most of us (happening to me right now).
Success isn't an overnight thing, you’ve to put in the hard work required, if you can’t do that, someone else will, as the competition for everything is really high and with recent development of ChatGPT it’s gonna get tougher.
Keep posting consistently because consistency is the key to everything, doesn’t matter whatever you do. AND REMEBER YOU’RE THE BEST NO ONE CAN’T BEAT YOU NOR BE YOU!
